a friend of mine is having her wedding in October and is having a masquerade theme. She wants to name the tables but has no idea what to name them, any ideas would be reallly helpfu... thanks

Yes, her name was Lauidpop, she had a masquerade ball wedding.

They seem to have originated or were most popular in Venice, so maybe she could name them after streets or popular spots in Venice?

That was my suggestion!!! Also, you can name them after characters in Shakespeares' play, Merchant of Venice.
