i need help on GPS systems? which are the best one? i think of getting this for my dad for fathers day. What are the pro and cons? thanx gibi

I have a TomTom- love it, also recommend the Magellan one with AAA maps in it
fh, my sister and my parents also have tomtoms- we got my parents the most basic one for christmas and it is perfect for their needs

garmen and tom tom are the 2 best ive heard.. my FH has garmen and i love it.. so easy to use and it talks (make sure you get the one that speaks the directions not just the picture) my dad has tom tom.. i cant figure the thing out. he loves it.. but im a total techno tart so i would get a garmen if it was for me or anyone who has a hard time figuring out electronics!

I Have a garmin and I love it ...it tells you the actual street and exit i.e. 'Turn left on Main Street' FH has tom tom and his doesn't say the street it says ' Turn Right' He loves it though, but I like mine better lol

depends on the model- my tom tom doesnt but my fh has a newer model and his does
