Need help organizing!

I am getting so frustrated with our condo. DH and I are still working on where everything 'belongs'. I need help with storage and organizing. I feel like our home is turning into a disorganized mountain of papers etc.!!

I can not seem to find a good place to store mail, bills etc...
I also do not have a spot for our shoes. So I bought a shoe rack to put in our closet....hope this helps.

As for paperwork...I am so annoyed. Everything I get things cleaned up, there's a new pile of papers on my table and counters!!

Where do you guys store and file everything?

we have a file cabinet - for bills, etc we save after we pay.....we also have a bin or two thats for stuff that is upcoming that we want to save (sales ads, coupons, etc).....part of the hard part of organizing is deciding how much you really need everything too....one things dh and i have come to an agreement on now is that if it sitts on the table for more than 2 days, its fair game to throw out!

another trick we have both learned is the online payment thing - lots of companies now have paperless billing and since you can alwyas access old statemtns as needed and they email you to tell you when its due, etc...we sometimes opt for that too!
