Need help picking out reception venue for 60-70 people for November 2011 wedding? Help

I recently got engaged however, we are not having a long engagement and are looking to get married November of this year.

I need a venue that will cater to 60-70 people. Also, if i can hold the ceremony at the same venue, it would be good too. My budget allows me to go up to $70.00 a person. I'm looking in Long Island, but i am open to Queens or Brooklyn too.

Need help!

If you are willing to do an off month and an off day you may be able to do westbury manor.

Check out the Watermill! We have around the same amount of people, and are doing it on a Saturday night in their Carnegie room

Bellport Country Club was so so so pretty and has what you're looking for. They do one wedding at a time and throw a bunch of stuff in (flower allotment per table, ice sculpure, chair covers, candles). Plus, the grounds are absolutley beautiful! I was thisclose to booking with them but I really wanted to be on the water.

Also, check out East Winds Veranda Room. Also very pretty and it offers all the convienience of the hotel (spa, restaurant).

You can try westbury manor, El Caribe caterers located in brooklyn, Astoria world manor is in Queen...

In Long Island I would suggest checking into Fox Hollow, Westbury Manor, Sans Souci of Sea Cliff, and Smithtown Landing.

In Brooklyn, I would recommend Buckley's caterers. They have a nice banquet room and the food is fantastic there! On their website the pricing is $70, but I'm sure you can even get a discount for booking within they year.

I have heard good things for smaller weddings at The Riviera in Massapequa also try the Cottage at the Millridge Inn

Try the Riviera... they're great to work with and very reasonable prices... fantastic food and a beautiful location!

Punta Dura is an italian restaurant in Astoria, but it's really big and has a dance floor for parties. My sister had a party there and it was gorgeous. Definitely within your budget, likely with money to spare.
