I go back to work on Monday~my 6 weeks are up. I am so depressed and this whole pumping this is just not working. ANyone have any hints for me? I do not want to use formula but I may not have a choice!!! I am so depressed.

I had no choice but to pump...since my little guy was too little to latch on when he was born....it does suck bonding with this machine. Dont give up. You can FM me anytime.
You can do it! I have been back at work for 2 months and pumping seems to be working out good, and I haven't had to use formula yet. I am away from her from about 8:30-5:30 so I feed her right before I leave and then I pump at 12 and 3, for about 20 minutes, and then feed her right when I get home. I found the first few weeks to be the hardest because I was always so worried about pumping enough. After I got into a routine with it, things are much smoother. I also pump in the morning and before bed to make up the extra for her bottles when Im away. In the beginning I did use some of my frozen backup, if you don't have any frozen dont feel bad if you have to use formula to supplement. Just do the best you can, and try not to stress yourself out. You can email me too. I BF for a year, but had to pump also since I also went back to work when my son was 6 weeks old. What kind of pump are you using... that can make a big difference!
