I like the beer stein idea - I have actually used it myself - Tiffany makes crystal beer steins for about $25-30 each. Isn't there a Tiffany at the Americana? Good luck!

If you don't have a lot to spend, you could go somewhere like Marshalls or TJ Max. Sometimes they have name brand things for cheap prices. Marshalls also has a section of watches, sunglasses, wallets, etc. You may be able to find some nice 'accessories' for a man there.

I would go to the Things Remembered in the Walt Whitman Mall rather than the one in Roosevelt Field. I just had a HORRIBLE experience with the Roosevelt field store. They screwed up the engraving so badly and then would not redo it. I ended up going to the Walt Whitman store where not only did they fix it, they did it over for free!! Just My Opinion.

if you live near sayville flea market, they have stuff there (you can get it personalized too, things to remember in the mall, restaurant certificate, beer of the month club, omaha steak certificate, sports tickets.

Groovypeg I had the same problems with Roosevelt Field. They were rude and horrible. I ended up going to Things Remembered in Broadway Mall. They were great. The girl was so helpful.

if you are further east- there is a things remembered in smith haven mall in lake grove.
they have so many things you could get the GM- flasks, beer mugs, cuff links, pocket watches, clocks, so on.
have a fun rehearsal dinner!
edited to say- do you have to give the gifts tonight? if not- he could always give it before the wedding sometime. or even the day after.
