does the custom part of your runner get printer on the front, where all guests can see when they first walk into the church, or towards the back (closest to the altar) where you and FH are standing?
I ask becasue, I got married on 10/29 and my runner was printed in the back, so NO ONE saw it when they waked into the church unless they walked the 75 feet to the altar!!!! Before I complain I just want to know how its done usually. I couls havesworn that every picture I saw of runners, had the names printed where the guests could see it as soon as they walked in. This could have avoided them all walking all over it...had they known it was custom.
Please respond ASAP as I am on my HM and waiting for DH to get out of the shower!!! He'll kill me if he knew I brought along this resentment on the HM

Whenever I've seen pictures online the names and/decoration has always been at the front where people can see it when they walk in (back of church).

Thank you! So I was not crazy to assume that that was where the names would go!!!

I put mine in the front, but if I had to do it again, I would have done the middle, so more people would have seen it.

i think you have to specify where exactly you want it. i've heard of people, in retrospect, saying that they should've placed it in the middle so that more people could've seen it.
