need help: shoe emergency!!

OK, so i got these satin pumps that i plan on using for the wedding...so i have been tryin to break them in

FH and i have been taking dance lessons, so ive been wearin them. anyway........bad part....

i got a little skuff (sp?) mark from the heel on the satin!!!! so there is like a think brown line on the front part of the shoe. DEFINATELY WILL BE NOTICEABLE IN PICTURES!! (not so much from people looking...who is lookin that close)

but what would get that out??? i have no clue!

help!!!

You should carry it to a shoe repair shop and ask them if they can remove the stain.

Not really sure if trying to remove it will be a good idea. Satin is very delicate and if you try rubbing it out, it might make it worse. Try taking them to a profession shoe repair and see what they suggest. Sorry, not much help!

where is there a shoe repair shoppe?

since its a scuff mark and not a real stain, should i just wait till dance lessons are over (in case there are more but....hopefully not....)

how about those tide spot remover thingies?
they usually work very well on cloth, why not satin shoes?

I know of one in the subway station of 53rd and 5th avenue, where the E and V train runs.

I think you should probably wait till you are finish with dance lessons, also

Here are some ideas...

1) shoe maker- theres one on Covert Ave in Stewart Manor I go to. He's good.
2) Magic Eraser. But be careful. Test it first on a part of the shoe that is not seen. Depending on the manufactuor, the satin may yellow.
3) Go back to the store you purchased them from and see if there is a cleaner. Or ask them to clean it. The shoemaker would do the same thing

I'd go to a shoe repair. Honestly, they are EVERYWHERE, especially in the city. Even one of the shoe shine places might be able to do it.

Can you break them in wearing around your apt instead of at dance lessons? I dont think you should continue wearing them.

if no one will notice and you are afraid of pics, they can Photo shop them out EASILY!
Hell, I can do that!

If people are looking at a scuff on your shoe, then they are crazy!

Tide-pen but it can be re-touched out

Hmmm....I think you should wear another pair of shoes instead for the dance. Your bridal shoes is just too delicate, esp. for practice.
