My invitations are tea length. I started stuffing them along with the cocktail, response & direction cards & I don't think the're right. The directions say to place everything on top of the invite (there's no fold).
Does this seem right? Please help!!
-Thanks!!

Re: Need help stuffing Invites!!!
Where I got my invitations i was told to put everything underneath the invitation - you want your guests to see that as the first thing that they pull out!! Also, assume that everyone is right handed so they would pull the invitation out with their right hand with the words facing up :)

I put everything in front of. Just make sure you put tissue paper inbetween so nothing rubs on them!

I didn't get tissue or an inner envelope. I put the invitation first, then the Reception info with RSVP and the direction card at the back.

Re: Need help stuffing Invites!!!
I was also told to do that. No fold, invite, tissue paper, then in size order. So since my direction card was bigger than my response card that went on top of the tissue then the response card w/the response card envelope flap over it. Then the reception card. Hope that helps.
Maybe if you list everything you have to put into we can tell you the order.
And remember, once it's opened no one is gonna even remember the order in which it came out, There just gonna grab the biggest thing (the invite) and look at it.

ugh! So true! I find myself stressing over the most rediculous things...(like this) and then it takes a slap in the face to make me realize it's not that important!
Thank you for posting...sometimes I need a reality check!
My invitations didn't fold either. I heard you are supposed to put the reply, direction cards, etc. in front of it too, but that didn't look good to me. So I made up my own order
Tissue Paper Invitation (placed so you will see the front of it when the envelope is opened) RSVP card tucked inside RSVP envelope Various other items tucked inside the RSVP card
Since my ceremony and reception were in one location, there was only one invitation.
And I totally agree with the things a couple other people said. Almost no one will notice the order you used. I stressed over this too, and it's just not worth it.

thanks everyone- I guess it is pretty much my choice & I do agree that no one is going to remember what order everything was in.
