How did you girls figure out when to have the photographer, videographer etc come?
I am having my ceremony and reception at one place. And, I'm getting ready at the hotel there too. Since I have video and photo for 10 hours and it ends at 12:30 do I have them come at 2:30?

I would ask the videographer or photographer. They usually have a good idea on the timing of things. Mine explained to me exactly what time he needed to arrive when I told him what I wanted done.

I guess I'll give them a call on tuesday. The photographer sent me something to fill out and that was one of the things I had to write in.

I would def call the photographer. . are you doing pics before hand?
My photographer said he wanted to be at the place I was getting ready before I got into my dress. . then we are doing pics before hand so left 1 hour for BP 1 hour for family. . 1/2 to get to the RH, then time for me to hide away before guests come. . depending on what you are doing for photos (before, after, large BP, family etc) that should give you an idea. .

If you have the photog for 10 hrs then count back from your end time. They wont be there earlier unless you pay for overtime. They usually show up 15 mins early just so they are on time but if you need them for an hour then you'll end up paying.
then once you have the photog time you can start figuring out hair and makeup....the people you are using will tell you how long they need.
I didnt do a time line. I let everyone tell me how long they needed.

Thanks everyone. I see on my hair and makeup contracts they mentioned they want to start around 1:30 so it's probably good for the photographer to be there later than that, right?
