Need help w/ kids party bag...

I am having four girls at our eparty. Ages range from 5 yrs - 10 months. I plan on getting the older three Barbies plus a small bag of candy for each as well as coloring books with crayons stickers and a notebook small pad with pencils. I don't know what to put all this stuff in for them to take home. I found a mini chalk board which I will buy too. I will probably give them a book for reading too. For the smallest one I don't know where to begin-do I even have to do something for her?

Now for FH's nephew. He is 7 and I will give him a coloring book, book to read, crossword or something like that. A toy (umm what?), candy and I think that is about it. I was thinking about also getting him one of those hand toys kind of like game boy but not that much $$. What do I put his stuff in.
The bag or whatever everything will go in is where I get stumped..

Why not just a regular gift bag thingy?? The kind that has handles...or an inexpensive back pack. They sell small ones that you could fit everything in. Try Target, Kmart, Wallmart...they should have them. You could probably get it for under $15.

I saw some cute gift bags with handles not the string kind at Duane Reade yesterday. I liked those. I might just by those. The bag is very sturdy and the handles are made of metal.
I wanted to stay away from the back pack since they all have one.

Any suggestions for the smallest one. She doesn't even walk yet!

Re: Need help w/ kids party bag...

I made kid party bags for the kids who came to my E party and it was a great hit. . . the parents really appreciated it. I put everything into a plain gift bag that match my color scheme and wrote their names on each one in big 'fun' letters. I stayed away from crayons and markers. . .little ones will sometimes write on walls . . .and parents sometimes aren't the most attentive at parties. (I had 3 boys run across my dance floor screaming as a made a toast)
****for the little one a soft book. . .look in the 'play' section at Babies r us

** Another idea is you can out everything in a sand bucket or an easter bucket . . they should be coming out soon. . if not already

Good Luck!!

MissLinda thanks for the bucket idea! The party is on Good Friday. Perfect to get an Easter bucket.
