So my cousin is having a destination wedding in Punta Cana. She wanted to have a welcome basket/bag for all her guest once they arrive to their hotel room. What are some things she can add? And since it's a destination wedding and there's no way we can carry about 50 baskets, what are other options.

Can you ship stuff to the hotel and then assemble there? Maybe a small bottle of rum, sunscreen, snacks, bottle of water?

How about personalized bags with their names and wedding date on them? She can fill them up at the destination and it's less to carry.
We added a few items to make people feel more at home: - Candy - Chips - Gum - Tylenol - Personalized water - Body Wash - Door Hanger
Some ideas of other items since it's destination would maybe be a little gift from DR? Maybe a coupon for an excursion? Maybe a map and list of things to do around there?

We thought about this but shipping things to DR is too expensive.

Maybe you guys can go to some kind of souvenir shop - get a nice frame for everyone, maybe a few other items, and then put in a bottle of water or something, maybe some kind of little favor you guys can package from here, like a pair of flip flops for everyone, or maybe some sunt tan lotion.
I suck at this but you get what I mean lol

Can you order some inexpensive bags to put everything in? Since its a destination beach wedding, I would include sunscreen, and maybe flip flops or beach towel (if you can find some inexpensive ones) and info about excursions.

Does the hotel everyone is staying at offer welcome bags? It would probably cost more, but then she doesn't have to travel with stuff.

I would just get gift bags and assemble when you get there.
How many do you need? I wonder if you can put it in a small beach bag?

I went to a friends wedding in DR last year and they left everyone a bottle of mamajuana with a little note of what it was and their names on it. Still have it at home!
