All my BMs are TINY except for one (she's about 5'6', 220 lbs). Just wondering what you ladies think - do you think it will look OK on her? I'm gonna have my mom try it on (she's 5'2' 170lbs) just to get another perspective. I have 9 BMs so I don't want to drag them all BM dress shopping b/c I've been in 1/2 of their bridal parties and never had a 'say' as to what BM gown I had to buy.
Thoughts???

your girls should try them on before you order them - especially if you are on the fence.
they are really pretty though! i hope it works for your whole BP! the color (from the back) looks amazing!

Very pretty! Go with the dress you love...you're never going to make everyone happy. I wouldn't have all 9 girls try it on...that's just too many opinions and you're not going to make everyone happy! Maybe just have a few girls try it and get a couple opinions.

its beautiful but i feel a mermaid is soo hard to be comfortable in but this is your day dont let anyone tell you any different its what you want

If you don't want to hear opinions, don't bring any of them. I did, and the two of my BMs I took with me originally are not fat by any means, and all they did was complain about necklines and sleeves, etc. Leave them all at home. I've seen lots of weddings with bridal parties with plus size girls in strapless dresses. And they look fine. Don't try to make 9 girls happy....I tried to make 4 happy, and I failed miserably to the point that I told them to find it on their own.

anything looks good on skinny girls...i would take the girl with you who you have concerns about and see how she feels in it. or maybe have her in a different dress. I know (as a plus size)...i am very down on the way i look in dresses....i wouldnt want to ruin your pictures and if the dress looks bad i would probably back out of the party if you definitely want that dress.....
