Need help with bridal shower gift...

I am going to a shower for a childhood friend in a couple of weeks, and I wanted to put together a honeymoon bag as a gift. I did something similar for Michele31 earlier this month, but I do not have time to make another cake (see photo below).

The problem I am having is that the bride and groom are not going anywhere far. They are getting married in Baltimore on Nov. 2, and honeymooning in Wilmington Virginia. What could I put in the honeymoon bag? Please make suggestions! Thanks for the help!

Claud, I love the 'cake'. I may just need to use your idea for an upcoming bridal shower.

Ideas for honeymoon bag-

little travel size candles
massage oil

his and her slippers
chocolates/sweets
maps, guide book to wherever they are travelling
book of love poems
disposable camera

Does this jump start the creativity??

How about a couple of cd's for the car ride? Or romantic dvd's or something?

I think they say 'Virginia is for lovers', right? Why don't you include things that have to do with love and romance?

Well, my friend works at the Welcome Center at BWI. She has access to a ton of travel guides/brochures/etc. Maybe you can call the Welcome Center at Dulles Int'l. I used to work in VA before moving back up to Baltimore, but that is the only airport I can think of. There are a ton of very nice wineries all over VA, so you might be able to get some nice brochures for them.

For a Nov honeymoon, I would also include candles, matches/lighter, a bottle of champagne and maybe something cute like hot chocolate incase it is cold - assuming the temperature ever drops out of the 90s!!!

And if you have never been to Baltimore check out the Harbor and go get crab dip at Looney's Pub in Canton
