what are some of the songs called? Is there somewhere I can listen to them? I have no idea and have to meet w/ priest on Sunday.. how many songs do I pick for a ceremony?

Your priest should be able to help you choose music. Ours gave us a book with the scriptures we needed as well as some recommended songs.

You can also call the Rectory - they might have a tape or a CD for you to borrow and listen to.

I second wedalert for song samples. We used Jesu, Joy of Mans Desiring for the parents and bridal party and then the traditional here comes the bride for me. We also played Ave Maria during the ceremony and we had a taped song, God Bless Our Love, by Mary Chapin Carpenter for the unity candle lighting.
