I just got engaged a few weeks ago and need help with booking a DJ. I'm on a strict budget and was hoping to find a DJ for under 3,000. Can anyone point me in the right direction. We are getting married next May at the Westbury Manor

You can definitely find a DJ for under 3,000 (3K is actually a lot for just a DJ-with no live add-ons). Check out Bravura. I was really impressed by them. They also did our e-party and everyone raved. I'm getting some extras, like a jazz trio for CH and paying less than 3,000.

I'm using VJ Entertainment. They are a vendor on here and have been really great to deal with.

We used DanceJock- they were awesome and were under $2,000 for the DJ and a live singer who stayed for the entire reception.

I went with this DJ company call OUO Entertainment for under $2000. They have packages that goes good with the budget of your choice. If you like, FM me and I'll give you their details...

For Tommy Tunes for 5 1/2 hrs he was a lil over 2K. For 4 hrs he was under 2K.. FM me if you want his exact pricing as well as pricing for live extras.

Try Spin Around Sound. Your budget of $3,000 is actually high so long as it's a standard length reception with none of the lighting, props, etc.

LI Sound, we have them for our ceremony music and reception as well (MC and DJ) and 2 steel drummers for under 3K

We used Perfect Parties...absolutely awesome! They were so good that four people from our wedding booked them for their weddings!
