I am meeting with a DJ (in nj) and would like to know some of the quotes everyone got and what was included. I have no idea what to expect! Thanks ladies :)

We're paying 2500 for a DJ/MC, sax for the coctail hour, name on the floor, spotlight, and an uplight behind the dj.

Met with Bravura last night - they said 2100 for DJ/MC combo for the full reception. Everything else was add-on - cocktail hour live performers - 1000. Ceremony quartet or trio - 1000, etc.

we r using body rock and r paying 3000 for dj/mc ch music a lighting package and 2 50 inch plasmas with photos displayed throughtout the night that we get to keep

Hey! I saw that you immed me the other day (I was sleeping and forgot to put up an away message). Expect FM from me!
We got a DJ out of Orange County who I think will do an amazing job. He's $1200 for him, basic lighting, and you have the option to add on a separate MC and assistants if you want (at no extra cost). He can also add a slide show and some other stuff for like $200 or $250, I can't remember.

We are paying 3200 for a DJ, MC, lighting, extra hour music, bongo player/steel drum player, name in lights etc... the whole package. HTH
