OK ladies, I think I need to put this to a vote. FH and I had our hearts set on doing mini pies in fall flavors as favors. But all the bakeries we called were too expensive. Adeline Regan suggested (THANKS AGAIN!!!) looking on etsy. While browsing through mini pies, I found these awesome pie pops! (http://www.etsy.com/listing/85245572/pie-pops-set-of-12) If we did these, we would do 3 per guest (one pumpkin, one pecan, and one apple). I already talked to the seller and we can get a discount. I thought it was so cute and unique and I was sold.
Then I saw these mini pies … each one comes with its own tiny fork! (http://www.etsy.com/listing/103135104/home-baked-cranberry-pineapple-mini?ref=pr_shop) And even though I was sold on the pie pops, I LOVE the tiny fork … if we did these we’d also do a variety of flavors, but each person would get one instead of a group of 3.
Thoughts? Which do you guys like better? I’m so torn!

I voted for the mini pie! Both are adorable so you definitely can't go wrong either way, but the pie with the little fork just struck me as more personal for some reason.

They are both cute...but I like the one with a fork more. It looks more 'wedding favor', if you get what I mean. The pops look better for a shower.

I love the pops! And I like the idea of getting 3. Plus you can add custom ribbons to them and make a tiny bo-k out of them....The mini pie, is cute too but cranberry pineapple flavor is not my cup of tea. I don't think you can go wrong with either. But my votes for the pops

I don't know if this changes your opinion, but the mini pie with fork can be made in any flavor, so we would do a mix of pumpkin, apple, and pecan...

These are ADORABLE! I'd be so excited to get either of those as favors haha.... but I like the mini fork with the mini pie best!

They are both great and unique ideas, my only concern would be that they are too delicate to ship and also the freshness. I would try to see if someone on long island would be able to do this.

Mini pies. I feel like the pops are very playful and trendy, but I haven't seen the mini pie before. I think it makes a more sophisticated statement.

Both are so cute and I love that you would get 3 pops but I voted for the mini pies. I think its really different and I love the mini fork. Either way you choose you can't go wrong.

I would order minimum of each right now and go by taste...they can be as cute as a button but if one tastes that much better than the other it might help you decide

That was my question bc I thought the pie listed was ummm... different. that sounds MUCH better!
