My mother in law in Florida had to have emergency surgery on one of her lungs today. We want to send her a get well gift, but she has diabetes, so a candy basket it out. DH is concerned that flowers may cause her to sneeze. She's not into teddy bears, so Vermont Teddy Bear is out.
Anyone have a good place for balloon bouquets that are delivered nationwide? Or any other suggestions? Thanks.

What if you send her some subscriptions to magazines she may like. Get her two or three subs and then send her a copy of a current issue of each. Subscriptions are fairly cheap these days and it would be somethign for her to do while she is recovering.

When my grandfather was in the hospital he loved to do Crossword puzzles. I don't know if she would be into that...
