Re: Need help with honeymoon budget - all inclusive
Do you know where you want to go? We're going to Aruba - all inclusive, staying at the Marriott. It was less than Hawaii, but not 'inexpensive' by any means. If you want more info. FM me.
I also looked into Cabo, San Lucas, St. Lucia, Antigua.... the travel agent thought I was crazy.
Good luck!

Fiji- 18 days. About 10,000-but we haven't gone yet and it's not all inclusive so that's just an estimate. Here's what I know so far:
Flights: $2200 for both 1st week hotel: $3500 (all inclusive) Airpass $480 for both Next 3 nights stay: $210 inclusive
Then we are travelling around, haven't booked the rest of our time yet.

Re: Need help with honeymoon budget - all inclusive
Do you know where you wanna go? Or don't wanna go?
We're going to Jamaica for 2 weeks & staying at Couples on their doubletake program - 1 week in Ocho Rios & 1 week in Negril. R/T First class airfare, all inclusive (drinks & food), all transportation transfers included (includ. flight between Ochie & Negril when we change hotels), oceanview HM suites, lotsa tours included at each resort, for $5300.
I've heard/read lotsa brides that wait til closer to their departure date that have gotten great deals . . I'm just not that patient

Re: Need help with honeymoon budget - all inclusive
would you be into a cruise??? i find them to be the best deals all-around - meals included, only have to unpack once, etc. we're taking a 10 night cruise through the south pacific plus two nights beforehand in Tahiti. if we tried to do that by land - we would be paying more than double than what we're paying for the cruise.

Re: Need help with honeymoon budget - all inclusive
Well, ther best deal I got was to go on a cruise. You have to pay for drinks and outside excursions, but all food is included whch can drive up the cost of any trip. What is your budget?
Oh yeh, if you book a cruise way ahead of time you need to call and check the price. When it goes down and you call your price goes down, or sometime they can bump you up to a better room.
I have been on 3 cruises.

Re: Need help with honeymoon budget - all inclusive
We booked our honeymoon to Puerto Rico through Liberty Travel - all inclusive honeymoon package for a little over 3,000 - we're staying at El Conquistador for 7 days, flight included, breakfast champagne and a free massage. We booked it way back in January though so I don't know how much it would be now... We always use the Liberty Travel in Baldwin on Sunrise Highway and Baldwin Road - very helpful and not crowded....

Re: Need help with honeymoon budget - all inclusive
Costa Rica, a little over $3K for 10 nights, includes only breakfasts, airfare, transfers and lodging.
The cheapest is probably dominican republic, where you can get an all inclusive very inexpensively

I second the cruise idea - it was the best!! And reasonable considering it was our honeymoon!

Re: Need help with honeymoon budget - all inclusive
Alina is right - we went to the Dominican Republic almost two years ago and stayed at the Melia Caribe - an all inclusive resort including all food and drinks. I don't remember the exact price but do remember that I was so surprised at how cheap it was. We also booked it through Liberty Travel....

I disagree on liberty travel, I don't think they are either helpful or cheap...

Re: Need help with honeymoon budget - all inclusive
You can get some good deals at Liberty Travel - sometimes. My TA is the best - but she's in Queens if you're interested I'll pass on the info to you.

Re: Need help with honeymoon budget - all inclusive
6 Days/5 Nights, the Sandals Regency in St. Lucia... absolutely everything was included except for special spa treatments (although we got his & her massages in our room). We are flying round-trip from JFK to St. Lucia non-stop on Air Jamaica for $1200 for both, and I will FM you the rest.
