Re: Need help with invitation wording!!!
When I looked this up, it was
you were invited to the 'wedding of' instead of ceremony of since it was at the hall.
wait let me think about that. There is definitly a difference in the wording if its not at a church... but I just chose whatever wording I liked better!

now that I think about it, it was wedding vs. marriage of, I think....

I think if it is at a hall, it is the 'pleasure of your company is requested' and a church wedding would ask the 'honour of your presence'

It should be the same. The mian inviation usually has the ceremony location, so instead of the church, you put the reception hall, and underneath yu put 'cocktails, dinner and dancing to follow' or 'reception to follow'

Re: Need help with invitation wording!!!
We got married at the hall and it was something like....
Pleasure of your company at the wedding of and then the name and address of the hall.
It was implied that the reception followed, we didn't have to write it on our invites.
