Need help with invite wording...

What to I put on the RSVP card and Reception card?? When should I have all the RSVPs due...

RSVP card:

we look forward to celebrating with you! (all lowercase, in a script font to match our invite - the rest in all in small caps in the other font on our invite)

The favour of a reply is requested
before the third of August.

Initially my FH scoffed at the different wording, but we've gotten many compliments on them (little notes on the RSVP cards and such).

Here's a pic of them - a little blurry, but you get the idea of the whole font thing I was talking about and the layout...

My mom wanted the RSVP to be Oct 1, not hte 13th since she suspects slow responders.
