Need help with Lindenhurst/CLM directions- exit 35 on So. State

Hey everyone, I hope someone can help!

I'm confused by the wording of the directions CLM gave us. It says to take Southern State to Exit 35 which is fine...but then they say 'take the exit to the light and make a left' For one thing, aren't the exits divided by south and north? So if you're getting off at Exit 35 and you need to go south to get to CLM, wouldn't you be making a right after the exit? And wouldn't the exit be labeled 35S?

My sister had reworded this as 'At the end of the exit ramp turn left at the light' - does that mean the same thing?

I don't normally take Exit 35- I usually get off at 109 and turn right on Wellwood.

TIA!

no its just exit 35 i know its weird...and its so easy after you get off...you do make the left at the light and then you go straight all the way down to the end about 5 miles

Oohhh thanks! I'm so surprised it's a left...I guess the exit must wind around then.

But does that really make sense? 'Take the exit to the light and make a left'
and does this mean the same thing-?
'at the end of the exit ramp, make a left'

TIA!

dont worry bc when you get off the exit you cant go straight at all, once you get off the exit theres a light and you can either make a right or left only, so people will just remember the left at the exit and know immediately what to do...None of our guests had a problem getting to CLM for the e-party, and everybody is from queens.

no problem...Trust me dont even worry, its the easiest thing to get to...I am the WORST with directions and always get lost lol and i found it extremely easy. Theres no way to get lost actually, once you're off the exit theres some wall or some property right in front of you, theres only that one light you are at when you get off the exit and you can only make a left or right.

You have enough to worry about it, dont let this be one of them.

It is not your typical exit ramp!

I live in LIndenhurst and that is how I direct people to my house. At that light, you can't go straight. Its either one way or another.
