Need help with Lombardi's On the Sound!!!

Need quick help! I fell in love with Lombardi's on the Sound, but I am a little scared that the ballroom is a little small.

Any brides out there that have had a wedding there with around ~200 people? We have 200 guests attending but we are concerned that we will not fit comfortably in the ballroom.

Any wedding guests out there that have been to a wedding there and felt cramped to the point where the wedding was not fun?

My cousin had her wedding there in 09' and had about 120 people in there and it felt like it was too big. We're getting married there this September and are looking at 180 people and i'm not concerned. Their NYE parties hold about 200-250 without any issue. I think you'll be fine!

we felt it was going to be too small for us for 200 people.

I looked there and seriously thought about booking but decided it was way too small for my 150ish amt of guests. The backs of the chairs are RIGHT on the dance floor. I guess it really depends on how many people you're expecting. Also if it's a summer wedding it's less crowded because a lot of people will go out on the deck outside.

Personally 200 in that room is too tight.

Are you inviting 200 or inviting more. If you are inviting 200 then you may be ok -- the guide is 15% will not be able to attend your wedding.

I went to a wedding there this past summer and there was probably 175 there and it was tight. We were seated almost right on the dance floor. But we still had a great time! CH hour was WAY too cramped for that amount of people though. It was crazy.

We had 175 including me & DH and it was perfect. We had 15 tables in the ball room and it was not tight...I dunno if I'd want to have 200 though...that's an extra 25 people so 2-3 tables.

CH was not tight at all b/c a lot of people were sitting outside eating on the deck watching the gorg sunset

I've been to two weddings there. the first one was in august '08, and they had about 220. it may have been a littttttle tight, but that didn't stop us from having a great time!!

the second wedding was this past june and there were at least 200 people there. . . .200-220 i think. it was fine.

the first wedding, i was all the way in the back corner, so that definitely had something to do with the feel of the room. this past june, i was up front, so we were moving around a lot and it didn't seem cramped.

both weddings were a lot of fun!!! I wouldn't worry about 200 guests. It's a great venue.
