Hi Im new here! My FH and I recently got engaged and we are now on the hunt for a reception hall. We arent looking to spend a lot of money per person and we are looking for May of this year! We really like the swan club!!!! Does any one know of cost? or other halls we could look at that is reasonable!
Welcome and Congrats. You can probably get a great deal with whatever dates are left since it is so close. They would rather have an event booked then let the place go empty

What type of hall do you want? modern? vintage?
We arent picky at all.. we actually were concidering looking into westbury manor also. Do you know any dates available for May? We are looking into May 19th(thursday) or even the 29th(sunday)
29th is the holiday weekend I think, so chances are it will be taken, but you can call.
Welcome and Congrats! I would call around to every hall you may have in mind and see what dates in May they still have available. You will def. get a good deal booking so close since they want to fill those dates up. Definitely haggle with them!
Thanks guys!!! Yeah...thats our plan..we went to the swan club expo tonight and the BM was all into us with booking in May. We have an appointment at 1:30 tomorrow so we shall see.
With such short notice you actually may get a really great price because if they have the date they may not want a dark night. When I was booking I jokingly said March of 2010 (we booked in Jan of 2010) and she said she could offer that at a large savings if we were serious.
