Need help with Microsoft Excel for Invites

I'm not too familiar with Microsoft Excel, and I have to enter all my names/addresses on it to send over to the place for the invites. I have to make 2 columns - 'Outer Envelope' and 'Inner Envelope'. And then list each couple's name/address underneath the column Outer Envelope, and then how I want their names on the Inner Envelope. Can anyone please give me directions on how I go about doing this? Thanks!!!!

I emailed the person who will be doing the calligraphy for my invites about this and she sent me an excel template of exactly what she wants...have you contacted your person?

You should do a column for Outer, Inner, Address 1, Address 1, City/State/Zip

That's what I did, but then again, I did it myself. So after I did the mail merge, I just went in and fixed the Inner names to how I wanted them.

Hmm.. It really depends on how unfamiliar you are with Excel.

Just in case ... here is the tutorial...

In excel all the little boxes are cells. The cells run up and down and left and right like streets. The address of a cell is something like A3 ...

A is the east west street
3 is the north south street

To put information in a cell, click in the cell, and type. Press enter, or an arrow key to move away from the cell and keep what you typed. To change the cell click on it again.

All the options from the File, Edit, menus are the same as in most other Microsoft Office Apps. There the main ones you want to know.

You may want to change the width of columns at some point. To do this, move your mouse to the column header, then move it to the edge of the column, you will see the mouse changes its picture to a double headed arrow.

When its a double headed arrow you can click and drag to streath the column.

Hope that helps, if not, maybe it helps someone else with excel
