Need help with MOH Gift

I am looking for ideas/suggestions for a gift for my sister who is my MOH. She is the only person in my bridal party (I didn't want a lot of people so I only chose my sister).

Let me give you a little bit of background....my sister and I have been through a lot with our family for the past 10 years. We lost our mom 2 years ago and have been trying to move forward with our lives ever since. It has been a struggle but we are doing it...good and bad days aside. My sister planned my entire bridal shower and did an amazing job. Besides that she is the most important person in my life besides FH and my dad. I want to get her something special. Something that says thank you for all of your help and thank you for being the amazing person you are. I am trying to stay away from jewelry because she really doesn't wear any in her everyday life and on special occasions she wears our mom's stuff and a beautiful necklace that my dad and I gave her for graduation with her master's degree.

So any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Great idea but I should have also mentioned that she doesn't like the 'spa' thing.

I had a problem tryignt o decide on a gift for my sis/MOH....I thought about the spa thing and finally decided on a GC for a trip. SHe had been wanting to go away so I gave her money towards it.

is she into fashion? how bout a really nice bag that she wouldnt spend the money on herself

or tickets to a broadway show sporting event concert?

She's not into fashion. She and I are the same in that we wouldn't spend the money on a designer bag because it's just not worth it to us.

We are both into sports and getting tickets has crossed my mind but I wanted it to be more personal than that.

It's so hard and I have been wracking my brain for months and decided to bring it to a forum to get some help because you all have such great ideas.

what about a trip for just the two of u..like ac or somewhere...maybe u guys can go to a road gam of ur fav team if she is into sports

does she like dancing with the stars or idol....maybe tickets to see them

Maybe you can make a scrap book with pictures of you together and maybe write something and put it in the scrap book saying how much she means to you.

OH WOW!!! That's a great story!!! hahahahahaha! It beats my using nothing though! I had the Dell DJ but I stopped updating it and then certain songs weren't working. I got frusterated and then lost interest. So now I have the pleasure of listening to the sounds of my commute or hearing the obnoxious sounds of other peoples blarringly loud IPOD's!!!

This is a great idea, then. If I were you, I would load it up with some music already on it, so she is all set to go. Do the ipod touch, could be very generous and she can store pictures, too. Then you can scan in older pictures of growing up, your Mom, etc.

I have an IPOD.. I think its collecting dust in my purse!!

Honestly an IPOD or Iphone will be useful for a person with a Sony Walkman!! She will keep herself entertained for a long time loading music and other fun things!!
