I am trying to figure out how to put an image or letter as a background and have text displayed over it- much like I see many of you have done with a monogram on an invite background. CAn anyone help me do this in Word? please!

you can place each letter, or image inside a text box and then layer them.

right click on image and under image properties you can put it behind text. or if you click on it, you can select, send to back.
