hi girls.. so im doing my invites but need lots of help with the timing.
the church is at 3.. just the ceremony should be done by 330 the latest.
what time should the cocktail hour be?.. i want to be able to make it for the whole thing and get my pics done inbetween
is 7pm too late for cocktail hour? i perosnally dont think so.. but what do you girls think?
Would 6 give me enough time?

My church is at 430. My reception hall is about 25 minutes away (with light traffic), and im starting my cocktail hour at 7. So that should hopeully give us an hour to an hour and a half for pics. Hope this helps!

ok so long story short... i had book ch 7-8 reception 8-12
not bad right?
im concerned with traffic.. our church is in babylon and RH is in rocky point it could take us up to an hour to get there.. so im thinking the later may be better what do you think?

THe best person to do the timing with is ur photographer, bc everything is going to revolve around pictures.
Ceremonies dont always start on time, then ur ceremony, ppl want to congradualte u....pictures.....are you stopping inbetween? are you taking pics at the hall? DO u want to be there for CH?
My photag advised 1 hour for church/ MY church is also an hour away from RH. Park and RH for pics.....I opted for 7 instead of 630. I want to be there for CH,
If im done by 630..i get to have a drink with my new husband and my BP. I can refresh makeup and have some potty time!

do it at 7. Im coldrspring harbor to Mount Sinai. YOU dont want ot RUSH on the big day!

we are getting married on a friday. i know there is going to be traffic and such. so we made the gap bigger.

My ceremony is at 4 and my CH starts at 7. I plan on attending the entire CH. My ceremony is about 30 mins too and it's 10 mins from my RH.

Mine is also ceremony at 3, CH starts at 7. It's about 25 min drive. We definitely want to make the whole CH, and will do a receiving line after the ceremony which will probably make it go until around 4....HTH!
