Need help with my profile picture

I wanted to change the picture in my profile & scanned in our engagement pic but it is very small in my profile. How can I make it bigger?

Looks like you need to crop the picture to size after you scan it. You probably have a Photoshop-like program on your computer (a photo editing software program most likely came with your scanner). Just open the program, then open the picture that you scanned, use the crop tool to create a border just around your picture, and it will eliminate the extra white stuff. Be sure to save the cropped version, and then upload that one into your profile.

The image you are trying to modify is already less than 50k in file size and can be uploaded directly from a post in the LIWeddings.com Chit Chat.

it sounds to me like you need to scan it in at a larger resolution. is the pic itself small? try to scan in at 150 or 100 dpi. anything larger than screen which is 72 dpi. but this also depends on your scanner software so. just mess with the quality you should be able to get the size you want just by editing it with the scan software.
