need help with PG MOH--what to do about her dress???
so my MOH and very best friend in the world johnny&maur is pregnant. which is the absolute best news i have gotten in a LONG time!!! she'll be 7 months pregnant at my wedding.
here's our problem. i'm ordering the dresses soon and she called phyllis to see what to do and phyllis gave her suggestions.
has anyone ever had experience with this? she's a naturally thin woman and we don't know how many sizes bigger to order. and phyllis was saying something about adding panels to the dress. she's not showing yet so we don't know how big her belly will be by july.

any ideas????
ps...mo will probably post the same thread tomorrow...i'm giving her a head start with ideas

My Sister had the same thing happen to her, She ordered the extra material and had a panel put in...the dress looked great!

I have a PG BM too. We're lifting the top (right under the bust to leave room for the belly. MY FMIL is doing it, so not sure exactly how. Maybe they can lift that one too - after removing the ribbon around it?

I feel your pain more then you know. I just found out that my sister also my MOH due date is 2 weeks before my wedding. not only are we trying to figure out what dress size to order but if she will even make it to the wedding. I am happy to have a new addition but not happy to think she may not even attend. With that said I was hoping the dress place would be able to guide me in what to do. this can't be the first time this has ever happened. maybe you can wait till closure to the wedding to order it and you will have a better idea of what size. they cold put a rush on the order.

My sister is 7 months pregnant now. SHe already has two girls and is now having a boy. She is carrying so much different this time. Her stomach is huge!! It is like a big basketball.
What I am trying to say is, maybe you should look into a maternity dress. Watters and Watters has very cute simple maternity dresses. I figured you could just be on the safe side.

i'm not upset by it at all...i'm so excited! i just don't know what to order for her. i want to make sure it fits.
watters dresses won't match with the levkoff...i thought of that.

I am going to order a bigger dress with paneling...best solution I can think of! I think it'll be ok, especially with the extra material. Let's cross our fingers!! thanks for posting, you are the best!!
