ok, ladies I have been going back and forth with this decision since I ordered my invites. Should I add a swarovski crystal to my invite. I love the way it looks, but then I don't want it to look cheesy.
please help me..and fast..I have to have these out by tomorrow. I have gathered a BM to help me do the work tonight if I need to. (and the work doesn't bother me to do...so don't let that figure in your decsion...I just want an honest opinion about the look.)

I also want to note that avellum band goes around the invite with our names on it..so you wouldnt see the crystal until you lifted that off.
I think it looks very nice either way, it certainly doesn't look cheesy w/out the crystal. If you really want to add it and you don't mind the extra work then def go for it!!

i love it without it. i also think the crystal might make a dent in the velum if it is smushed do you know what i mean?

I agree. She brings up a great point. Also, be careful of it going through the envelope and such.

I thought the same thing plus I was worried they might pop off en route so I made up a sample with the crystal and included all the things that will be in the envelope and have been carrying it in my work bag for 3 months and so far ..it has stayed fixed, hasn't tore the vellum...and the face of the crystal is not sharp so no enveope tears. (can we say anal!!)
