Need help with Pricing - a handmade Diaper Bag

I am going to try to sell some of my Handmade diaper bags/tote bag,
I justed wanted some opinions on what to charge?

online some of these bags go for about $100 or more, its crazy!!!!

how big is it? are those pockets around the inside?

ETA: are they custom made as in can I request colors/patterns/theme to match a nursery???? A friend is due in FEb. and this would be a GREAT gift!

The size of this actual bag, and the pattern I made (and usually use ) is
12 inches high
16 1/2 wide

BUT I can make any size bag you want,
this just seem to be the Perfect Size to me.

YES the pockets are in the inside, I can make as many pockets as you want, One usually is made especially to fit a bottle.

YES I costume make a bag for you,
as long as I can find the fabric, which should be no problem,

I also make changing pads to go with the diaper bag.

I have been making this bags and giving them at all the BABY showers I have gone to lately, and thats alot and they have been a great hit.

IF you are interested in a bag,
let me know I would definitely costume make one for your friend,
I also have pics of other bags I can email to you if you like, or but them on shutterfly or something and post link here.

What is her nursey theme?

I love the bag!!!

How much are materials and how long does it take to make? Decide on an hourly rate and figure out your time costs. That plus the materials should be your minimum charge. Add in a 30-40% profit margin and see where that lands you.

I just finished making a bunch of them,
will use for gifts But also wanted to try to sell them, but not sure how to go about and what to charge.

Oooo Nice! I want one as a knitting/crochet bag!
I've seen them sold on ebay for about $30- $50 something (also brand new handmade ones). I think thats more reasonable than over $100.

I totally agree I think $100 dollars is crazy,
I think it also depends on Price of fabric and size,
I was thinking about $50 for the medium size i usually make,
I also make changing pads to go with them.
