Ok So I called La Grotta in Little neck. Me and FH go here all the time. They said there middle menue is $42.00 pp. It includes Hot and Cold Antipasto served family style, Pasta and salad and then a choice of 4 for your entree. then you get dessert and coffee. Unlimited wine and soda also. Do you think thats to expensive? Were having about 35 people.
That's a pretty typical price. FH and I decided we didn't want to pay that much though, so we decided to go a different route with the RH. We are having it at an upcscale chinese restaurant, which is about half the price, and kind of festive (and completely different food from what's being served at the wedding). :)

Try Chester's in Bayside on Bell. We booked there and got app, salad, entree, desert and top shelf open bar for a really great price the food is great and the owners are from Ireland and really nice.
