My wedding is July 1. I'm doing a A and B list. Normally I would send out the A-list 4 weeks before. But, since a b- list is involved what date do I make it?

you could send your A list out like 6 weeks before and then the b list 4 weeks before if you want to have the same RSVP date

my wedding is 6/5/11 and my RSVP is 5/1. I have a B list too so I plan on sending invites around Mid March. and if I dont hear from people by 2nd week of April (I am doing RSVPS via our wedding website) l I will call them and then send my B list invites.

I think that's a good timeline.
Btw, you may want to include another option for RSVPs, not everyone has a computer (ie. older/retired people).

This is my same timeline a year earlier! Except I'm sending my A-list invites next week!!!! March 5th they'll go to the post office, so people will start getting them around the 6th or the 8th. I have a lot of OOT guests.
And I agree with the other poster - you're definitely going to need another form of RSVP besides the website. Believe it or not, not everyone has internet access!
