Need help with Shower Venue in Queens. X-post from BHB!

This is an x-post from BHB! I need all the help I can get!

Now I know, I'm not supposed to be doing this, but my mom is having a really hard time finding a place for my shower. We're expecting about 50 people and she wants a place that we can just rent SPACE for a reasonable cost. She wants to do the cooking/drinks herself. If there's a place you know of that will do drinks for a low pp cost, that would work also. We're really hoping for something in or around Queens, half an hour outside of Queens, tops. TIA ladies!!!

CLEARVIEW GOLF COURSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! some1 on here had her shower there liek a yr or 2 ago.

the golf course is my 'backyard' and i had noo idea this place existed!!!! but theres a bar and a room that u can rent out.. so u can bring in the food/drink !!!

its in whitestnoe.. right next to cafe on the green.

you're prob going to have to look in vfws or firehouses, stuff like that if you want to bring in your own food and drink. i dunno that there are many volunteer firehouses in queens tho

Yeah, we have a VFW hall in mind in case we can't find anything else, but they require you to use their drinks/bar so you can't bring in any of your own. My mom wanted to set up like punch stands and make different drinks alcoholic and non. It sounds so cute! I just figured if anyone would know of a place, it'd be you ladies!
