I have an A-line dress and accidentally bought a crinoline slip that is David's Bridal 795 (full slip) on Ebay. Is the slip going to be too full for an A-line gown? I have a sewing machine and am pretty handy. If it is too full, is there a way to make it less full?
try it on and see what happens....but yes you can always de-tulle it and make it less poofy!

Re: Need Help With Slip
If for some reason the slip is too full and you cant fix it, why not try to sell it on ebay? Someone would buy it, that way you can get a new one that is the right kind

Re: Need Help With Slip
I have an a-line dress and tried it on with a full slip and a smaller one. they both were fine, just different looks. i went for the smaller one, but that's just me.
