Ok, so, just for fun I wanted to buy t-shirts for my sister (bridesmaid) and best friend (maid of honor). I've been looking at cafepress, and I found a couple of good ones, but I need help picking. I found one I absolutely love for my maid of honor, but I'm stuck on my sister. The thing is that she's very sort of emo-punk-ish, and I'm trying to think if she even owns a t-shirt that isn't black. I mean, she does... but most are black. However, I really like the idea of a shirt that says ' the bridesmaid' as opposed to just 'bridesmaid', because she's the only one and I think the 'the' makes it a little more special and clear that she's the only one. Wierd, but whatever.
So, I found a black t-shirt that's just 'bridesmaid' and a white t-shirt with 'the bridesmaid' on in black, and I don't know what to choose. I couldn't find 'the bridesmaid' on a black shirt.
so, the first two are my options for the bridesmaid shirt, and just for fun, the third is my maid of honor's shirt (I'm getting it in green). Thanks ladies!
Re: need help with t-shirt choice - opinions please!
hmm, dont take this the wrong way, but I think if you're emo-punk, you wouldnt be into shirts that say bridesmaid on them. do you think your sister would be into it?

I have an idea- maybe you can try designing a punky one on your own?

ha, yes, I could see why you'd say that... the thing is that she's not 'pure' emo-punk like... it's just the best I can do to explain it. She's a big nerd, she's got a billion shakespeare t-shirts, she's really excited to go pick out a bridesmaid dress, she wears a lot of skirts... she just kind of has that emo-punk sensibility in her clothing where she wears a lot of dark colors and stuff, and she listens to that kind of music and has a boyfriend who looks like an anime character. It's hard to explain. maybe describing it as an artistic 'I want to be a starving actress' kind of thing would be more accurate. Silly complicated 16 year olds.
so, yeah, short version: I don't think she would have a problem with it, and she might kind of get a laugh out of it.

that's an interesting thought... I wouldn't know how though. My experience with iron ons and heat transfer type things have left something to be desired. They never seem to last when I do them myself.
