hey girls, i have a job interview in the yankee stadium area and i need to get from penn station to yankee stadium by subway. what is the easiest/safest way to do this? also about how long will it take? thanks for any help! i'll be getting into penn station around 9am if that makes a difference.

FH says take the #4 or D uptown train from Pen Station to Yankee Stadium should take about 30 minutes.

I believe the #4 or #5 go up to Yankee Stadium. Either way you can get those both in Grand Central. To get to Grand Central you can take the 1, 2, 3 or 9 to 42nd Street and change to the 7 or S to Grand Central. Once you get to Grand Central, get on the 4 or 5. I am not sure which one but ask someone at Grand Central. Sounds confusing but it's really not! If you are worried, then just take a cab to Grand Central and get the subway from there- it's direct!

here is aubway map. its looks like the B and D trains stop at Yankee statium, if you take the A or C to 145th st you can transfer to the D
