Hi girls! So I absolutely love the color of this sash!!!!!! my color scheme was eggplant, but after seeing this shade of purple, I really want to use this color instead.......
do you know of any bridesmaids dresses that come in this shade? know of anything else in this shade that I can use for the wedding? invitations, candles/holders, flowers, etc....
I can't figure it out either! I keep referring to it as a purplely-wineish-magenta-merlot. makes sense right?
its such an odd placed color that I don't know what to call it!

It looks like a darker royal purple....still in the eggplant family - reminded me of Lisa's (leese) bm dresses -
ETA: i think b/c the sash is a high count satin that it makes it look lighter.

Looks like my color! It is plum got my BM dresses @ Davids. When I post the pic it's not the exact color, but my dresses look like the sash in your pic.
I think it's aubergine, which is sort of like eggplant.

aubergine is a little darker and looks black in most pictures. That's why i chose plum, it'll actually look purple in pics!

I agree. I'd call it grape, amethyst or royal purple.
Merlot & wine are more reddish based, and aubergine is more muted.....
