Need help with unique program suggestions. What do you think so far?
We have a very unique story (went to college together, lived in the same dorm, same major, many of the same friends, even applied for the same job at a company that only had 4 employees but never met until we 14 years later). We are also interfaith (raised Catholic and Jewish) but now belong to a Unitarian Church whose minister will be marrying us. For all of these reasons I want to go beyond the standard wedding program but need some help so far I figured I'd write sections on:
1. 'Our unique journey of finding one another'
2. The proposal
2. Short bios of bride, groom, MOH and BM
3. 'Our Wedding Day Traditions'- here I will explain certain ethnic and religious traditions to both sides who may be unfamiliar (breaking of the glass, the Irish lucky penny, etc.). I will also include an explanation as to what the Unitarian Fellowship means.
4. Ceremony- typical ceremony page will be included
5. Dedication page to my decceased mother.
What do you think? Any suggestions?

it sounds great - i honestly like programs with lots of thins to read- i am always eraly and it entertains me
i might decide if you want it to be sweet or a little funny or something else and follow that through the program

Your story reminds me of one of the couples interviewed in the movie 'When harry met sally'

im making a wedding newsletter that will include all of that with also a did you know section about the bridal party, a paragraph about the honeymoon and a dating timeline
