Need Help with Votive Placecards!

I have been trying to get the vellum to make the votive placecards and have been having no luck! I am in MA and went to a Michael's the other day...I showed the woman working there a pic of the votive placecards and she still couldn't help me!

Finally, I found individual vellum sheets (but they were 79 cents each and a lot looked pretty beat up) or self adhesive sheets of vellum (5 for $5.00). Then the woman at Michael's said something about preforated vellum, but didn't have any....

HELP!!!!!

Where do I get the vellum and how much does it cost? I will be on LI this weekend, so any places you know of would be great!

If there are preforated ones, I would think that would be easier...what did everyone else use? I am freaking out!!!!

TIA!

I went to Staples and bought a pack of 50 sheets for $10. I made the design (a monogram) on a Word document then copied it three more times on the same document - one below the other. Printed and then attached to the votive holder with vellum tape (Michael's). I had to cut the corners of the ends of the wraps because when they overlapped they went above the rim.

How do you make personalized votive placecards without the vellum bunching up? What did you use for adhesive? Thanks!
(I used a craft glue and it is bumpy)

You should definitely try paperandmore.com. I think they have the best prices and you get 100 sheets for like $15 bucks, depending on how transparent you want the vellum to be. They also cut to whatever size you want for an additional $5 bucks. I've ordered all of my DIY invitation cardstock from them. Everything arrived right to my job and was cut perfectly to my specifications in about 4 days.

Is that paper adhesive or do you have to use glue/ tape?
How are you doing it?

Those are cute if I wanted them for decorations.

I should have ordered them for my e-party!
