Need help with wording!

I was thinking of doing save the dates/christmas card since my wedding will be a year around the time I will be sending them.
How would you word the save the date.
I thought of this today as I was walking to the train station lol

May you Holiday and year be as bright as ours.
Save the date 12-6-13 then will do a picture card with some shots from our engagement shot.

Anyone creative and can think of a good saying?!

Re: Need help with wording!

I like that (I might even steal that wording for our Christmas card!)

I think it's inituitive but I think I would probably add 'for the wedding of...'

I am always surprised at how many people are confused if I do not spell things out for them lol.

The saying you have is cute!

You could also play on 'love' and 'gifts'

Wishing you this Holiday season the gift of love and happiness. Save the date...

With thoughts of warmth and love during the Holidays, and welcoming the New Year, save the date...
