This is for the lady who was not able to attend, but hand stitched our invitation, motif and type set, and then framed it.

I really want to FILL up the thank you card...

Here's some background:

It really is VERY special to us

We hung it on the wall AS SOON AS we got back from the honeymoon...

what else can I write? I really want to fill up the card...

How about:

'It was extremely thoughtful of you to take the time to create such a beautiful gift.'

'We appreciate your thoughtfulness'

Tell her how priceless it is and how it stands out in your mind so much.

tell her how much you love it and how thoughtful it was for her to take the time to make something so beautiful for you . - that's something SO amazing and NOT a gift you'd ever expect to receive !!

It's a very unique gift! I would love something like that myself (but that's not something you can say!)

If you want to have kids, you can say that it's something that you know will be very special to them also.

'Thank you so much for your personalized and thoughtful gift. In a world where people so often don't take much time for each other it truly means the world to us that you handcrafted a gift for our special day! We have already placed it on the walls of our home for all to enjoy. It is a keepsake that will be in our family for many years to come. Thank you again for your one of a kind gift!'

Something to that effect maybe?
