My mom wants me to sent out little cards telling people not to forget to book their rooms and to inform them that my parents are hosting a brunch the morning after the wedding at the hotel. I am only sending them to some of my family who might not know. Im not even sure if we will send them to FH's family. I need something like this:
FH and I can't wait to share our wedding day with you. To make your stay more comfortbale, we have blocked off rooms at the X Hotel (with address).
The bride's parents will be hosting a brunch on Sunday, October 15th from 8am through 12pm.
I need help!!!

I did this in all my OOT bags - the brunch that is.
As for the hotel - the hotel provided the cards and I included it in the invite.

I am also including it in the OOT boxes, but some of the guests aren't staying in the hotel (we have family that live nearby where they will be staying) but my mom wants them to come to the brunch. So, I gotta send something to them

We had a few guests who did that as well, we just called and informed them of the brunch and then a few days before the wedding, we called them and reminded them again!

I asked my mom just to do this, rather than having to make up and mail out cards. But, she INSISTS on having a card made up!

Mother's! How about going to Target, getting a genertic 'you're invited' card stack and put all the information for the brunch on that and mail it to each of the guests near-by. That way you don't have to worry about deisnging anything or wording it, you just have to fill out the lines.

I actually have cards left over from when I made my STD's. So I am just gonna use them. I am just trying to figure out what Im going to write on them.

How about this: 'The new Mr. and Mrs. xxx invited you to join them for brunch on day of week, month, date, year at timeAM/PM. The brunch will be held at place/location. We look forward to catching up with you. Love, Bride & Groom'

I am corny, so I would do something like this
In order to make your stay comfortable and be sure that you sleep well We have blocked off some rooms at the X Hotel The bride’s parents will host a brunch for those of you who stay So we hope to see you there from eight to noon on Sunday!
