Need Help w/STD Wording

Ladies,

I am making my own Save the Date Cards and need some suggestions on wording

This is what I found so far:

Save the weekend: Jane and John (or We) are getting married on April 19, 2003, in New York. Invitations and hotel information to follow.

I would send your hotel info with the STD card.

Ours were rather long because we sent all of the travel information now so our guests could make their reservations early.

On the inside right page I had a poem:
An answered prayer he is to me;
My greatest blessing she'll always be.
And so this day we'll pledge our love
in front of friends and God above.

At the very bottom I wrote
Formal invitation to follow
