Need help...calling all fun people who hang in NYC

My BIL and family are coming into NY from Seattle July 8 and they want to go somewhere fun with the kids for dinner that night. I need some suggestions please. These kids have everything and have been everywhere but it's not a matter of the food as much as the ambiance and wow factor. Maybe a great view!

Can anyone help?

The kids in my family love Dr. Jeckell's or something like that. I have never been there but I think it's kid-friendly. If the kids in my family were allowed to stay, any child on the above-savage scale should be ok.

The kids are 13 and 10. They are pretty advance for their age but are still kids. They are boys and they are into music and sports. I was thinking ESPN zone. They have a Planet Hollywood in Seattle and I've been to Mars 2112 before and though it was a little hokey..

I hate ESPN zone, but the boys will probbaly love it. After all there are TVs over the urinals!

the Hard Rock Cafe is always fun. I was going to suggest Mars 2112, but I see you didn't like it.... I guess any of the theme restaraunts would be unique. I say go for EsPN zone. Alos, they just openned a Nintendo Store somewhere I think midtown East. Should be cool for the kids. And if you go to ESPN zone you'll be right near the huge toys R us, in case you're looking for somewhere to stop in with the kids to have some fun

I don't know what kind of money you want to spend, but there is a really cool restaurant in the Marriott Marquis called The View. It is a revolving restaurant, so you get to see the whole island while you eat. I have only been there a few times, so I am not sure if kids usually go there, I would call to find out. You probably have to make a reservation anyway.

Thanks, I was trying to remember that restaurant. These kids are snobby kids..nevertheless, they are my nephews!
