Need help..not getting a headpiece :(

I need some help here. I went for my first fitting today and I chose my veil! YAY! But the only thing is that I couldnt find a headpiece, tiara or other that looked good on me. So i was thinking of going with pins. I saw some at the salon but lordy lordy...300.00 for 5 of them!!!! Is that insane or what??? My girl told me to go the craft store and see if I could make my own but I am just way too busy. I was trying to search online but i came up with hardly anything. Do any of you know any good sites or reasonable places in nyc or long island. That wa just way too much and since I wont have a headpiece they have to be sparkly and well seen. Thank you so much in advance!

you can get nice hair pins at Tri-County Flea Market. I went there on Friday and saw at least 3 booths of bridal stuff.

Yeap those models look weird ... but I guess like they are not going through the real emotion ... jiji ... but they give you a good idea how the pins look ... at least for me. I also have long black hair.

hi, wow, that's a lot for hairpins. I found mine on ebay, 30$ for 10 of them, I think the vendor was Amy's Bridals. They are small white porcelain roses. I haven't had a trial with them yet, but hopefully I'll like them! good luck!
