Can anyone recommend a good, affordable car insurance company? My company just decided to raise my rates by $200 for no reason (except that they said 'oh well it looks like we went through a company rate increase as of December). So yea, looking to possibly switch. Help! Thanks!

I use Geico, because it's realllllllllly cheap. I have a clean record, and have never had to process a claim through them but I have heard they can be a nightmare.
If you call Progressive, they will compare different rates for you, though I'm not sure how legit they are.

I have progressive and they are wonderful. I switched to them from geico four years ago- I have better coverage and it is cheaper!!!

I am with Countrywide and pay less than $500 a year because i have a clean driving record.

Us too - the rep was really good - we are getting married in 13 days and we combined our auto policies back like 4 or 5 months ago (which was strange because I didn't know you could without being married... ) - but Geico gave us the best price, I got a student discount, we got a multi-car policy discount (mine and FH's), and I had the 6 hour course (which helped us both) - they were really aggressive with their prices
