my mom and i want to go looking for veils and tiaras on monday. i have no idea where to make appts (do i even need to make an appt?!?)....can anyone offer any suggestions on where to go? thanks so much for any advice!!!! kristen 09.18.04

I got my tiara at Swarovski's at Roosevelt Field Mall. They have a few there that are very pretty. I know a lot of people on the boards who have had success getting both veil and tiara at Tri-County in Levittown. Other than that I am sure you can just walk into any bridal salon.

I went to Patchogue Fantasyland...we didn't have to make an appointment. They had a really good selection and their prices were very reasonable!

i would definitely recommend barron's in tri-county (hempstead tpke in levittown) but FYI, they are only open thursday friday and saturdays. you don't need an appt, but remember it's first communion season so all the crazy moms are there with their 7 year olds!

Another vote for Patchogue Fantasyland, if you can't find something there you won't find it anywhere!

I also agree with Patchogue Floral. My daughter got hers there and they are absoutly beautiful. Very detailed, and elegant. If I'm not mistaken, her total was $200 +/-. She got her tiara, chapel veil and blusher. Good luck!
